Francois Marine & Offshore is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent will
Manage and assign tasks to warehouse staff to perform order-fulfillment in accordance with urgency on delivery on a daily basis.
Monitor the status of completion of Work Order (WO) with the lead Warehouse Operatives.
Perform random checking on completed pick list for pick accuracy.
Ensure the timely updates of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the Warehouse Team lead.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and assign tasks to the Warehouse Operatives the WO to be completed for the day. Ensure all works orders are processed and packed on time for deliveries.
Ensure that the Warehouse Operatives obey all safety rules and guidelines illustrated in the Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
Ensure Warehouse Operatives check the wellness of the MHE before the start of work.
Conduct final inspections to ensure that all items stated on the WO are correctly packed and clearly labeled.
Conduct checks that delicate and perishable items are properly packaged and protected to prevent damage during delivery to the customers.
Ensure stocks received daily are properly allocated in the designated locations within 48 hours.
Provide feedback to the Warehouse Manager on any discrepancy found on the incoming deliveries and on storage issues.
Ensure that the warehouse environment is tidy, clean, and safe.
Communicate and ensure that the warehouse staff achieves the Key Performance Indices and completes assigned daily tasks.
Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing data, key information during strategic planning and reviews; implementing production, sustainability, safety, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; and identifying warehouse system improvements.
Support Inventory Controller in the weekly, quarterly, and annual cyclical runs in count procedures to identifyfy and report variances and to resolve discrepancies in the stocks.
Trigger inventory checks with the controller if excess or shortage are found during final inspections.
Review of Warehouse operatives' performance, which includes disciplinary actions recommendations.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) and Ethics & Compliance policies.
Perform any other duties or projects as requested by the superior.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' relevant supervisory or managerial experience.
Experience with WMS preferred.
Familiarity with storekeeping and warehouse functions.
Forklift license mandatory.
Problem-solving and analytical skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to work within tight and conflicting deadlines.
MS Office and Outlook skills.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
