5 June is World Environment Day. ‘Biodiversity’ is the theme for 2020 and this year, the United Nations’ emphasis is for protection of genetically diverse species living with us in this world. Housed within the United Nations Environment Programme, World Environment Day reminds us to move towards environmental elements in the Sustainable Development Goals.

To achieve living in harmony with nature and restore balance, we must collectively reverse negative impact of biodiversity loss. “If we don’t take care of nature, we can’t take care of ourselves.” Let us partner and unite towards actions for positive change.
